Mat Manual companion guide to "Koryo, Taken Apart: Your First Dan Poomsae." Print it. The article maps all thirty movements. This book trains them for examination: a five-passage chunk map of the form, technique cards for everything the Taegeuk never taught (the double side kick, the arc hand throat strike, the knee break, the target punch, the fingertip thrust, the slow final strike), and an examination performance checklist in the order panels actually score it.

BEFORE ANYTHING: THE RULES OF THIS WORKBOOK ☐ The thirty count is the book's count, and combination beats inside a movement are trained as beats, not hidden inside a number. ☐ Passage two's front line is trained at the pace the form sets for it. It is one breathless advance, and students who break it into pauses are learning a different, easier form. ☐ The knee break is rehearsed on pads or in the air, at agreed depth, always. No partner's knee is the practice target for mureup kkukki, at any speed, ever. ☐ Both kihaps are on the arc hand, movements 11 and 30. They are placed from the first week and never moved. ☐ The fingertip thrust is examined for structure, not for toughness. Nobody conditions fingertips against hard targets for this form.
