Mat Manual companion guide to "Heian Yondan and Godan, Taken Apart: Finishing the Heian Set." Print it. This workbook covers the last two Heian kata as one finishing project: full movement charts for both kata in this manual's counting (Yondan 27 movements, kiai on 13 and 25; Godan 23 movements, kiai on 12 and 19, with the known variant flagged where it lives), chunk maps with anchor movements, slow-tension control checks for the paired blocks and flowing postures, pair-independence drills, a jump-landing progression for Godan's first flight, and recovery points for the movements where students quietly lose their place.

BEFORE ANYTHING: SIZE AT EVERY TEMPO ☐ Slow means full size at half speed, in every part of this book. A block that travels half its path slowly is not a slow block. ☐ The jump progression (Part 14) is followed in order: landings before height, freezes before flight. ☐ Godan's second kiai placement varies by line (18 in some JKA-line manuals, 19 in this book's table). Confirm your federation's before grading, and pencil it onto Part 4's chart.
