Mat Manual companion guide to "You Knew the Form. The Scorecard Disagreed." Print it. The article explains how WT-style poomsae scoring splits into accuracy and presentation, and where the deductions that cost color belts actually live. This workbook lets you score your own forms the way the chair scores them: a worksheet for each Taegeuk level, deduction checklists for both columns, a video-review protocol, a partner-as-judge rotation, and separate test-day and competition-day runs. Check your own federation's current rules for any event; this book teaches the common WT structure and the habits that survive every version of it.

BEFORE ANYTHING: HOW THIS WORKBOOK IS USED ☐ Scores in this book are training tools, not verdicts on a student. A worksheet filled in honestly and used to choose drills has done its job, whatever number it produced. ☐ Judge the performance in front of you, not the student you know. Worksheets are completed during or straight after a run, from what was seen, never from memory of last week's practice. ☐ Full-commitment runs carry the usual training risks of any hard practice. Warm up before performance runs, clear the floor to the form's full pattern, and stop a run for dizziness, pain, or a rolled ankle like any other training. ☐ Kicks at head height in performance runs are thrown only by students whose school trains them, at the standard their instructor sets. A worksheet score never justifies a technique the body is not ready for. ☐ Your instructor's technical standard governs every stance, chamber, and line in this book. Where your school's form differs from the common teaching, note it on the worksheet and judge to your school's version.

AccuracyWas the form performed as written: techniques, stances, lines, order
PresentationHow it was performed: speed and power; rhythm and tempo; expression of energy
Deduction habitSmall deductions for minor faults in single movements; larger ones for wrong or missing movements
Worksheets in this bookOne per Taegeuk level, Parts 5 to 8, plus a blank for school forms in Part 9
Working ruleEvery deduction found becomes a drill chosen in Part 19, or it was just criticism
Your event's rules checkedFederation: ______________ Date of rules: ______________ Differences from the common structure: ______________

Fill in the last row before any competition cycle. Judging systems get revised; a worksheet that assumes last year's structure can mislead a whole season of preparation.
