Name: ______________________________ School / house (WT-Kukkiwon or ITF): ______________________________ Current grade: ______________
How to Use This Reference
Taekwondo runs two systems side by side. The Kukkiwon and World Taekwondo house (forms called poomsae, sparring called kyorugi) and the ITF house (forms called tul, sparring called matsogi) share roots and a name, and differ in forms, sparring rules, and rank certification. Every table in this guide says which house it belongs to. Where a fact varies by school or by ITF organization, the table says so. Organizational facts are date-stamped October 2026, because federation leadership and rulebooks move.
