SAFETY, BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE ☐ Contact scale agreed before every partner set (Part 6). Speed and contact rise together only when rotation and placement hold at the current setting. ☐ No blocking on a deeply bruised forearm. Switch sides, switch roles, or drill footwork. Tell the instructor. Hiding bruising fails this block. ☐ Nukite and open-hand partner work is placement work at touch contact only. No full-force open-hand contact to a partner in any drill in this book. ☐ Forearm guards, where a school uses them, are a volume tool for high-rep partner work. They never replace mechanics checks, and a guard is noted in the log when worn. ☐ Repeated heavy bruising in one spot, lingering numbness, or pain that changes wrist or elbow movement stops contact work and goes to a clinician, not to a tougher drill. ☐ This book teaches no bone-bashing conditioning. Any drill that asks you to damage your forearms to toughen them is outside this system. Stop it and tell the instructor.
