Mat Manual companion guide to "No Catch Gym Near You: Building the Art From Where You Stand." Print it. The article gives the map of the problem: no registry, no storefronts, and claims that need checking. This book is the working kit: the lineage-vetting checklist with room to write answers down, the five pathways as decision pages, a twelve-week two-person syllabus with session cards, a video-study log that separates watched from learned, a seminar log, and the safety agreements a self-directed pair signs before it drills.

BEFORE ANYTHING: THE STANDING RULES OF SELF-DIRECTED TRAINING ☐ Video teaches the map and solo movement. It does not correct you. Every technique in this book is logged as watched, drilled, or tested, and nothing is called learned until it has been drilled at rising resistance and, where the plan says so, checked by outside eyes. ☐ The safety library is learned in the article's order: base and survival first, escapes, rides and breakdowns, turns and pins, submissions, and the crank library by recognition only. No technique jumps its stage. ☐ Neck and spine work is recognition first: shapes learned at a distance, control and knowledge only, no finishing pressure in training at any point in this twelve-week plan. ☐ Taps are agreed out loud before every live round, and a tap, physical or verbal, ends the hold instantly and completely. ☐ Shoulders, necks, and knees report symptoms the day they appear. A symptom written in the Part 26 log is a training fact. A symptom hidden is next month's injury. ☐ Neither partner claims a lineage, a grade, or a coaching credential this training does not honestly provide. Your history is described exactly as it is.
